Marketing Technology Project Manager at Penn Foster Career School in Remote
Essential Job Functions:
Convert business requirements and high-level technical requirements into projects, milestones, sprints, and deliverables for all medium to large projects for all websites. Act as an internal point of contact between the business, marketing and Marketing Technology to project manage website initiatives, determining priority, capacity and often scheduling resources. Communicate project status for website projects through detailed scheduled reports. Collaborate with team leads to guide developers, QA testers, system administrators and other internal team members to deliver quality content and solutions on time and on budget Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects Ensure website quality and efficiency by creating QA test plans and working with our QA testers to conduct regular website tests. Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Expertise in creating work breakdown structures for website projects Deep understanding of development sprints, user stories and backlogs Solid knowledge and experience with Marketing Technology including:
SiteCore, Joomla, Wordpress, AWS, Jira Proficiency in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, mySQL and JavaScript. Passion for web development and knowledge of the industry's growth and best-practice standards Strong ability to understand capacity, dependencies and risks Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others Excellent documentation skills Known for transparency and promoting a teamwork mentality in a high-level collaborative environment
Experience:
Bachelor's degree or related work experience Three - five years' experience in website development or equivalent experience within marketing technology Strong understanding of how distributed systems and mobile technology products work. Direct experience in managing technical integrations with outside parties and coordination with development teams. Experience managing engineering/development projects using agile methodologies (Scrum preferred) Expert using Jira, Workfront or other related project management functions Experience with client-facing applications, CMS integrations Experience working with restful APIs Experience with agile development workflows and JIRA Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms a plus Experience with Sitecore a plus Exposure or experience with Amazon Web Services
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
