Desktop Support Specialist / Skaneateles, NY

Desktop Support Specialist On-site in Skaneateles, NY 6-Month Contract-to-Hire The Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for installation, support, inventory enhancement and management of networked and non-networked hardware such as desktops, laptops, thin clients, printers, and peripherals.
In addition, this position is responsible for problem resolution/troubleshooting/training and communicating with end users in a timely and customer-oriented manner.
Assist with the deployment and maintenance of service level agreements with appropriate reporting and documentation.
What You Will Be Doing Responsible for installation, support, inventory enhancement and management of networked and non-networked hardware such as desktops, laptops, thin clients, printers, and peripherals Installation, support, inventory and management of local system applications.
Clearly documents system/application/hardware support issue and resolution in the call tracking system for 80% of all assigned support calls.
Actively support IT policies, procedures and initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience Minimum 2-3
years' experience preferred in IT Support role Vocational training and certifications are a plus You will receive the following
