Software Test Engineer - Automation
Akkodis is seeking an Automation Software Test Engineer for a contract position with a client located in Syracuse, NY.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
Will write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
Will determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
Pay/Salary Range:
$45hr-$55hr Automation Software Test job responsibilities include:
Serve as a member of Software Test Team with responsibility for all software testing of products developed by R&D.
Participate in the development of programmatic software testing of medical devices.
Partner with development engineers, quality engineers and other Test Team members to establish and execute functional, performance and robustness testing of medical devices via programmatic methods.
Develop test cases, protocols and automated test programs from requirements/design documentation and execute the protocols against established baselines.
Develop and maintain test programs to simulate host or device interfaces.
Communicate anomalies/issues.
Understand and follow established quality processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required Minimum Five years' experience required Must be able to program in Python Knowledge of BDD tools and technologies (Ex.
